Here is yet another example of an advertisement for a vehicle that relies on horrible stereotypes about women driving. It goes on and on about how much wives end up costing their husbands with their terrible driving skills and how much money a Wolkswagen can save a man.

Look how happy this woman looks as the ad copy reads “The Chef does everything but cook, that’s what wives are for!” It’s amazing how these kinds of ads were not only able to run, but apparently worked well for so long.
