Bell Telephone

Back in the 1980s, each phone call cost a certain amount of money, and that amount changed based on where you were calling. You can see the chart that showed prices according to which city you were calling and where you were calling from. We’re glad that this is no longer the case anymore.

Jester Wools

While Jester Wools was likely not trying to be offensive when this ad was released, it wouldn’t really work today. From the “I’ve robbed the rainbow to make you gay,” to the strange jester figure, this ad would really not do very well today. Perhaps this was a clever play on words, or just a coincidence, either way, this would never make the cut nowadays.
