People who have yet to visit the iconic skyscraper should know that the Empire State Building is an incredibly tall building. It is not at all ideal if you have vertigo or acrophobia. It actually held the title of the tallest building in the world until the late 1970s! However, these acrobats don’t seem to mind. This picture was taken as they celebrated the building’s opening in May 1931. You would not be able to convince us to do that, but they sure look graceful!

This majestic staircase would not look out of place in a magnificent mansion, wouldn’t it? It would fit right in at the place of residence of some aristocrat. However, it is actually located inside a boat. Yes, we are talking about the Titanic yet again! People continue to be fascinated by the ship and its tragic tale as evidenced by movies, books, and documentaries about it. Most people will generally be familiar with James Cameron’s film Titanic which in fact prominently featured this grand staircase.
