Ali MacGraw
Ali MacGraw’s first acting projects were actually commercials. Her big break came when she landed the part of Jenny in the iconic film Love Story. She might have become a successful actress since then, but she actually only appeared in three films in the 70s: The Getaway, Convoy, and Players. Her most recent film credit was for the 1997 movie Glam. Oh, and she also reunited with her Love Story costar Ryan O’Neal for the theater adaptation of Love Letters.
Loni Anderson
Loni Anderson experienced a fairly slow beginning to the 70’s as she only received minor parts on the small screen. Everything changed when she was given the part of Jennifer in WKRP in Cincinnati in 1978. Fame came easily after that specific role. She went on to star in Easy Street, Partners in Crime, and White Hot: The Mysterious Murder of Thelma Todd. She was also seen in the Amazon flick Love You More with Bridget Everett.
