Of course, Emmy Award-winner Loretta Swit is best known for portraying Major Margaret on the show M*A*S*H. She was last active in the scene during the late 90’s but she did some voice acting work in more recent years. Here’s something you might not know about Debbie Harry of Blondie: she was born under the name Angela Tremble! The band first released an album in the year 1976. Blondie made a comeback in 1997 and they are still performing to this day. In fact, they launched an album in 2017! Harry is yet another philanthropist and she claims that Elton John has a huge influence on this. “After witnessing Elton John and his tireless efforts against HIV/AIDS. These things are important to my life now. I have the privilege of being able to get involved, so I do. I applaud people like Elton John, who have used their position to do so much good,” she revealed. She also supports groups that focus on endometriosis and cancer.
