Remember the actress who portrayed the character Tara Martin on All My Children? If you don’t, you probably recall Karen Lynn Gorney as Stephanie in Saturday Night Fever with John Travolta. She went on an acting hiatus in the 80’s and only made her comeback after a decade. She appeared in various shows like Law & Order and The Sopranos. More recently, she appeared in the film H.O.M.E. and we’re glad to hear that she is presently working on other projects.

Lorraine Gary first came into the limelight after playing the protagonist in the classic horror film Jaws. The 1975 Spielberg film was initially supposed to be her last film as well since she wanted to retire right away. Nonetheless, she ended up reprising the same role in the 1987 sequel Jaws: The Revenge. These days, you will find her schedule filled with her charity work. She is involved with the Human Rights Watch Africa Advisory Committee as well as the Human Rights Watch Women’s Rights Advisory Committee.
