Gilligan’s is known for its dream sequences. Think back to the dream in “‘V’ for Vitamins?” See, Bob Denver’s son Patrick provided the voice for small Gilligan during that particular scene. Now that’s pretty cool!

The Real Lagoon
In 1964, the CBS Studio City backlot was transformed into the show’s iconic and popular lagoon. Initially, the plan was to film somewhere in Malibu. However, since they had to consider natural and uncontrollable conditions like fog and frozen water temperature in winter, the creators decided to build one near the studio instead. However, in 1995, the lagoon was turned into a parking lot.
