One of the most infamous scientific experiments ever was named after her! Dolly, the sheep was named after Dolly Parton. If you didn’t know this, don’t feel bad. We didn’t know either! The experiment occurred in 1995 when scientists created a clone sleep from a somatic cell. The scientists named it after her because of her large bust. See, it wasn’t totally random!
