Tom Hanks and Rita Wilson first met in 1981 when she guest starred on an episode of Bosom Buddies, a sitcom that Hanks was in. However, at the time, Hanks was already married. Once the pair met once again in 1985 on the set of Volunteers, they were both single. Hanks once told Oprah Winfrey: “Our relationship isn’t magic — the way it’s shown in movies. In real life, our connection is as concrete as me sitting here. We both know that no matter what, we’ll be with each other — and we’ll get through it.”

Goldie Hawn and Kurt Russell first met in 1968 while filming The One And Only Genuine Original Family Band, when he was just 16 and she was 21. They didn’t get together until 1983 and they were filming Swing Shift. The pair has been together ever since, never officially getting married. They have one son together named Wyatt, and also raised Hawn’s children from her previous relationship, Kate and Oliver Hudson.
