At 52, Steve Harris is best known as Eugene Young on The Practice and as Detective Isaiah “Bird” Freeman on Awake. Six times, he was nominated for the NAACP Image Award for his role on The Practice and he won it in 2004. Harris appeared in the 2017 Netflix film Burning Sands.
