Ransom was axed after three seasons. The cancelation was announced in July via their official Twitter account. The tweet on #Ranson fans said that they were lucky to have shared three seasons with the fans but that they have to bid farewell.

It seems Netflix was on a roll when it comes to canceling shows this year. Chambers was another series that got axed. Despite its star-studded cast, the series received lukewarm reviews and their viewership was lackluster. It premiered in April and was canceled in June.
