In order to search for Poitras and the dogs, about 60 crew members led by the Coquitlam Search and Rescue were tasked with searching the grounds in the huge backcountry area of Eagle Mountain on the third day of the search.

What They Used
After two full nights, on the third day, Poitras was finally found and several RCMP vehicles were used to search, while two helicopters and the expert searchers from all around the province were all employed to get her and the dogs to safety.
