As the entire neighborhood helped look for Charlee, with every passing moment that she was missing, everyone grew more anxious. As nighttime began to descend and the sunlight was growing more scarce, a real fear was setting in. Charlee’s mother Natalie Quick and her great-grandmother Lisa Chesher were in a total panic, searching frantically for the little girl. Even as nighttime fell upon them, they did not give up the search.

Two days passed, and still they did not give up on finding Charlee. Her family cooperated with the sheriff’s office. They began searching the woods near Beth’s home, as they believed she may have wandered into there. More and more people became involved in the search. Scotty McGaha of the Bullitt County Sheriff’s office told Insider that they had “interviewed several family members…during the search, along with the FBI.”
