On My Block
Netflix confirmed in January 2021 that On My Block‘s fourth season will be its last. The last 10 episodes will be aired either at the end of 2021 or 2022, depending on when filming is finished.
Special
The comedy series featuring Ryan O’Connell lasted for two seasons. However, In March 2021, Netflix informed everyone that its final season will be aired in May 2022.
The Duchess
The Katherine Ryan comedy show has been cancelled by Netflix after airing only one season in April 2021. The show premiered in September 2020 with six episodes. The show will not be renewed for a second season.
Castlevania
Castlevania, the anime series that has been going for four season, will not be renewed for a fifth season. Netflix revealed in April 2021 that the show’s last season, which aired in May 2021, will be its last.
The Last Kingdom
Saxon series The Last Kingdom will not be renewed for another season, making its fifth season its last. The final season will premier at the end of 2021.
The Irregulars
This Sherlock Holmes meets supernatural teen show premiered in March 2021 but will end after one season. While the show was one of the most popular shows on Netflix the week it premiered, it will still not be renewed for a second season.
Jupiter’s Legacy
Although Jupiter’s Legacy premiered in May 2021, already in June 2021, the show was already canceled after its first season. However, fans of the show can check out Supercrooks, a supervillain series that is set in the same universe, according to Deadline.
Grand Army
Grand Army was dropped way back in October 2020 and has been officially cancelled by Netflix despite just having one season. Although the show did receive positive reviews from critics, particularly its young cast’s performances, the show will not be renewed for a second season.
Cursed
Cursed premiered in July 2020 and just a year later, was canceled after its first season. The Katherine Langford-led show will not be coming back for a second season, which makes sense because it received mixed reviews.
Bonding
Bonding lasted for two seasons before being cancelled by Netflix in July 2021. The show did receive a lot of negative backlash from sex workers, and so the show will not continue on to a third season.
Country Comfort
Country Comfort premiered in March 2021 and by July 2021 was already cancelled. The Kathatine McPhee-led sitcom received mixed reviews and will not have the opportunity to redeem itself beyond season one.
The Crew
Kevin James-led NASCAR sitcom The Crew premiered in February 2021 but was cancelled by July 2021. The show will not continue for a second season, likely due to its 38% Rotten Tomatoes rating.
Mr. Iglesias
Mr. Iglesias was a comedy series that premiered in June 2019. Starring Gabriel Iglesias, the show lasted for two seasons but was cancelled in July 2021, despite having pretty high ratings.
Carmen Sandiego
The classic character of Carmen Sandiego was revived for a Netflix animated series that premiered in October 2019. The show lasted for four seasons before the company announced that its fourth season will be its last, premiering in January 2021.
Dear White People
Dear White People was renewed for a fourth season in October 2019. Filming of its last season was delayed due to the COVID-19 pandemic. Netflix announced that its final season will premiere sometime before the end of 2021.
Dead To Me
Christina Applegate and Linda Cardellini series Dead to Me was quite the success when it premiered in 2020. The show was renewed for its third and final season, which will be released sometime during 2021.
La Casa De Papel (Money Heist)
La Casa de Papel, which is known by its English name Money Heist, will not continue past its fifth season, which will premiere in two parts: first in September 2021 and its second in December 2021. The show’s creator and executive producer Alex Pina said that the show was always intended to last just five seasons.
Atypical
This Netflix series first premiered in 2017 and will come to an end after its fourth season, which was released in July 2021. The show premiered to mostly positive reviews and continued to have positive reviews throughout.
Ozark
Ozark was renewed for its final season in June 202. The fourth and last season will be split into two, each one consisting of seven episodes, bringing season four to 14 episodes total. It is expected to be released by the end of 2021.
Feel Good
The Mae Martin series was renewed for a second season in December 2020. The second and final season will be released sometime during 2021.

Anthony Bourdain was known as one of the best food journalists of our time. This Emmy award winning series see Bourdain traveling parts of the world often neglected by tourists, experiencing their culture and of course, cuisine.
Friends
Say it ain’t so! Yes, the rumors are true, and everybody’s favorite sitcom is leaving Netflix for good. The reason is because Warner Media will be moving Friends to its own streaming service, HBO Max. The service will also be taking more content such as Grease and other beloved movies and shows.
BBC Life
This British docu-series explores the way in which living things have adapted and changed over time in order to survive the wild. This is based on Charles Darwin’s concept of “the struggle for existence.” Sadly, this series will also be taken away from Netflix at the end of the month.
BBC Planet Earth
This highly popular docu-series, narrated by everyone’s favorite nature documentary narrator Sir David Attenborough, is officially being pulled from Netflix at the end of the month. Therefore, it’s time to start the binging session now!
Billy Elliot
This classic film, which has inspired a musical adaptation created by Elton John, tells the story of a boy who wishes to become a professional ballet dancer while dealing with the difficulties of the stigmas male dancers often face. If you haven’t seen it yet, hurry and watch before it’s gone for good.
Black Hawk Down
This classic war film featuring Josh Hartnett from 2001 is actually based on a non-fiction book, which has the same name, written by Mark Bowden in 1999. The film tells the story of the United States military raid in Mogadishu in 1993.
Blue Planet II Season 1
Yet another BBC nature docu-series will be making its exit from Netflix this month. Luckily, only the first season of Blue Planet II will be removed from the streaming service, so luckily if you don’t watch it in time, you’ll still be able to catch the rest of the season without any time pressure.
Christmas With The Kranks
Christmas With The Kranks is a 2004 holiday comedy starring Tim Allen and Jamie Lee Curtis who play a couple that decide to forgo celebrating Christmas one year as their daughter is away. You can watch it in the nick of time for the holidays before it is being removed form the platform.
Daddy Day Care
This comedy features a star-studded cast: Eddie Murphy, Jeff Garlin, Regina King, Anjelica Huston, and Steve Zahn. Daddy Day Care is about two fathers who decided to open a daycare out of their homes when they are let go from their corporate office jobs.
Fear And Loathing In Las Vegas
Hunter S. Thompson’s iconic novel was adapted to the big screen in 1998 and became an instant classic film as well. The film stars Johnny Depp and Benicio del Toro and follows them on their trip through Vegas as they explore the city while under the influence, yielding some interesting results.
Frasier
This well-beloved sitcom that spanned over 11 seasons is officially being taken off of Netflix this month. The popular show was actually a spinoff of Cheers, a massively successful sitcom as well. Frasier gave a more in-depth story to the character of Dr. Frasier Crane in his native city of Seattle.
Frozen Planet
Frozen Planet is yet another BBC docu-series that will no longer be available on Netflix come next month. Also narrated by Sir David Attenborough, Frozen Planet seeks to explore the wild life and surroundings of the Antarctic and the Arctic. Time to start binge-watching!
George Of The Jungle 2
George of the Jungle 2 is the sequel to the massively popular 1997 George of the Jungle film. While “George” was played by Brendan Frasier in the original, this time actor Christopher Showerman replaced him for the titular role.
Get Santa
Get Santa is yet another Christmas comedy that will be gone from Netflix by the end of the month. The British film features many highly regarded British actors such as Jim Broadbent, Warwick Davis, Rafe Spall, Jodie Whittaker, and Kit Connor.
Merlin
This fantasy-action TV series from the early 2000’s tells a reimagined story of young King Arthur and the wizard Merlin, and was done in the style of Smallville, which tells the story of young Superman. The show had a successful run from 2006 through 2012, but will be leaving Netflix by the end of the month.
Mona Lisa Smile
This 2003 drama film features Julia Roberts as a graduate student at Wellesley College who takes up a teaching position. For this role, Roberts was paid $25 million, which at the time was the highest amount earned by an actress for one film role. The movie also stars Kirsten Dunst, Julie Stiles, Maggie Gyllenhaal, and Dominic West.
Planet Earth II
For those who were hoping that the sequel to docu-series Planet Earth will be lingering on Netflix, unfortunately we have some bad news. This series will also be removed from Netflix as it shifts over to Discovery Channel’s new streaming service.
Rain Man
Rain Man is the classic 1988 film that tells the story of two brothers played by Tom Cruise and Dustin Hoffman who only become aware of one another once their millionaire father passes away and leaves his estate to just one son. The movie will no longer be available on Netflix after the end of the month.
Rocky
The 1976 sports film featuring Sylvester Stallone is practically synonymous with the American Dream story. Rocky Balboa goes from rags to riches when he finds fame and fortune by becoming a professional boxer. Who can forget the iconic scene of running up the steps of the Philadelphia Museum of Art? The film will be leaving Netflix at the end of the month.
Rocky II
Rocky II continues the story of Rocky Balboa after he retires from professional boxing and begins to enjoy life of fame and fortune as a retired boxer. However, he is tempted to re-enter the world of professional boxing after being challenged by his foe.
Rocky III
As you could probably have guessed from the title, Rocky III is the third installment of the Rocky franchise. Sylvester Stallone reprises the role of Rocky Balboa for a third time. What the third movie gifted the world is the chart-topping hit song “Eye of the Tiger” by Survivor, which was later awarded Best Original Song at the Academy Awards.
Rocky IV
While the fourth installment of a film franchise does not seem like it will be the most successful of the bunch, such was the case with Rocky IV. It was the most financially successful sports film for 24 years until The Blind Side overtook it.
Rocky V
Rocky V features Sylvestor Stallone reprising his iconic role of Rocky Balboa but also stars his real-life son, Sage Stallone, as his on-screen son as well. The film earned its director, John G. Avildsen, the Academy Award for Best Director. All five of the Rocky films will be removed from the Netflix library come next month.
Schindler’s List
This 1993 film based on the Thomas Keneally novel, Schindler’s Ark, was directed by Steven Spielberg and is considered to be one of the greatest films of all time and was nominated for 12 Academy Awards, having won seven of them, including Best Picture and Best Director. The film will no longer be available at the end of the month.
Star Wars Episode VIII: The Last Jedi
Star Wars is one of the most massively popular film franchises in the history of films. The film is the second in the Star Wars sequel trilogy. While it has been available to watch on Netflix, soon it will be leaving and heading to a galaxy far, far away…also known as Disney+.
Tears Of The Sun
Tears of the Sun is a 2003 war film starring Bruce Willis, who plays Lt. A.K. Waters, a commander of a Navy SEAL team that is on a rescue mission to recover Dr. Lena Fiore Kendricks from Nigeria that is embroiled in a civil war. The harrowing story will be available on Netflix until the end of the month.
The Crow
The Crow is a 1994 film based on the comic book that stars Brandon Lee, son of Bruce Lee, in his final appearance in a film before his untimely death after a tragic on-set accident took place while making the movie. After a decently successful opening at box offices, the movie has since garnered a cult following.
The Dark Crystal
The Dark Crystal is a 1982 film from Jim Henson, who is known for creating The Muppets. This film is a puppet-animated dark fantasy movie, whose animatronics were then considered to be groundbreaking. Although the film will no longer be available on Netflix, but its TV show counterpart still will be.
The Hunt
Another BBC nature docu-series favorite that will be making its exit from Netflix is The Hunt. This series showcases incredible showdowns found in nature. Some noteworthy scenes include polar bears and leopards hunting their prey.
The Pink Panther
The 2006 film The Pink Panther is the tenth film in the franchise, which first began in 1963. This installment features Steve Martin as Inspector Jacques Clouseau who is tasked with finding out who stole the Pink Panther diamond. Hilarity ensues as we follow Clouseau in his zany adventures.
Thor: Ragnarok
Thor: Ragnarok is the third film of the Thor franchise featuring Chris Hemsworth as the titular character. It is the most commercially succesful of the three Thor films. Another film in the series has been announced and has a planned release date of November 5th, 2021. Unfortunately, you won’t be able to watch Ragnarok on Netflix anymore come next month.
Wet Hot American Summer
Wet Hot American Summer is a satire comedy that tells the story of a fictional summer camp featuring quite a cast including Paul Rudd, Janeane Garofalo, Molly Shannon, Elizabeth Banks, Bradley Cooper, and Amy Poehler. The film will no longer be available on Netflix, but its reboot TV series still will be.
White Christmas
This 1954 musical is a classic featuring Bing Crosby, Rosemary Clooney, Danny Kaye, and Vera-Ellen. The holiday time classic is a Christmas favorite and can be enjoyed for one last time during this holiday season before it is removed from Netflix at the end of the month.
Winter’s Bone
This 2010 mystery drama movie features Jennifer Lawrence in one of her most lauded roles. She plays a teenage girl living in the rural Ozarks of Missouri who sets out to search for her missing father. She was nominated for an Academy Award for Best Actress for this performance, and the film was also nominated for 3 other Academy Awards, including Best Picture.
Pulp Fiction
Pulp Fiction is considered to be Quentin Tarantino’s greatest film of his career, as the film was a commercial and critical success. Nominated for seven Academy Awards the film won the award for Best Original Screenplay. Come the end of the month, the classic will no longer be available on Netflix.
Yoga Hosers
Yoga Hosers is a horror comedy by Kevin Smith featuring his daughter Harley Quinn Smith alongside Johnny Depp and his daughter, Lily-Rose Depp. The film is the sequel to the 2014 Tusk horror film. The film will be leaving Netflix at the end of the month.
About A Boy
This 2002 is a classic romcom starring Hugh Grant, Toni Collette, Rachel Weisz and a young Nicholas Hoult. The film was positively received by both critics and audiences. Sadly, the film will no longer be available to stream on Netflix at the end of this month.
Miss Me This Christmas
It appears that Netflix is cleaning house when it comes to Christmas films, as Miss Me This Christmas is also making its exit at the end of the month. The holiday film features Erica Ash, Redaric Williams, and Eva Marcille.
Jackie Brown
Jackie Brown is yet another Quentin Tarantino film that will no longer be available on Netflix at the end of the month. The film was adapted from the novel Rum Punch, and is the only Tarantino movie to date that has been adapted from another work.
Leap Year
Leap Year is a 2010 film that has been loosely adapted from two old-Hollywood films, It Happened One Night and I Know Where I’m Going. Featuring Amy Adams and Matthew Goode, the film will only be available for a short while before Netflix is removing it.
