She starred in Intermezzo and became well known after starring alongside Humphrey Bogart in Casablanca. She later appeared in For Whom the Bell Tolls, Gaslight, The Bells of St. Mary’s, and Joan of Arc.
Loretta Young
Loretta Young started out as a child star and had continued success throughout her life. She won an Academy Award for Best Actress in 1947 for her role in The Farmer’s Daughter. She later appeared in her own anthology series The Loretta Young Show, which earned her three Emmy Awards.
