Jane Birkin
Jane Birkin is an English-French singer and actress who is perhaps best known for her romantic and musical partnership with Serge Gainsbourg. She first starred alongside him in 1968’s Slogan, and then two two released their first album together called Jane Birkin/Serge Gainsbourg. She also appeared in the controversial film Je t’aime moi non plus. Fashion house Hermes created the Birkin bag in honor of her. The bag has become a status symbol and ranges from $10,000 to $500,000.
