After five years together, German arts administrator Jorn Weisbrodt married his partner, the singer-songwriter and composer Rufus Wainwright in 2012. They were wed by friend and transgender artist Justin Vivian Bond. They have a “parenting partnership” with Lorca Cohen (daughter of Leonard Cohen). The three parent Viva Katherine Wainwright Cohen.
