It was only fitting that Diane Lane embarked on an acting career when you consider the fact that her dad was a drama coach and her mother was a model. She might have experienced a difficult childhood but she was able to channel her emotions into acting on stage. She made her film debut in the 1979 flick A Little Romance. By the time the 80’s rolled in, she was a force to be reckoned with! We bet you remember her stellar performances in The Outsiders and Rumble Fish. She is still acting these days and you can see her in the role of Karen in Serenity with Anne Hathaway and Matthew McConaughey.

Jennifer Jason Leigh might have been a teenage girl in the late 70’s, but that didn’t stop her from landing minor roles in various films and shows. However, her first real break was Fast Times at Ridgemont High. The 1982 movie allowed her to work on more mature projects like Miami Blues and Last Exit to Brooklyn. Leigh is still active in Hollywood at the moment and she recently appeared in the shows Atypical and Twin Peaks.
