In 1978, Karen Allen began her acting career in the movie Animal House. Several years after her film debut, she was able to land the role of Marion in Raiders of the Lost Ark with none other than Harrison Ford. That was the moment her career flourished and she has since starred in films like The Glass Menagerie, Sandlot, The Perfect Storm, and A Year by the Sea. The actress currently resides in Massachusetts and teaches yoga.
