The City of Angels is known for its traffic and noise. Since the filming of lagoon was shot on the network’s backlot in Los Angeles and was done near the highway, the shooting had to be done as swiftly as possible. We might all agree that this was a challenging feat.

Talk about job perks! What motivated Natalie Schafer to do the Gilligan’s Island pilot was the free trip she got to Hawaii! As that is where they filmed the pilot. Once CBS chose to pick up the show, Schafer and some others were not too pleased knowing that they would film in LA.
