She converted, saying that it provided her “spiritual satisfaction.” She follows the teachings of guru Neem Karoli Baba (Maharaj-ji), and in 2009, Swami Daram Dev of Ashram Hari Mandir in Pataudi gave her children new names that honored Hindu gods.
