In an interview with Marie Claire, Kristin Davis shared that she is completely different from her on-screen persona of Charlotte York who loves to drink cosmopolitans. She said: “I’m a recovering alcoholic. I’m kind of shy normally, so I felt like I needed help. One thing led to another and I was drinking.” She knew she had to cut out drinking in order to be able to focus on acting, and after some time in rehab, she stopped drinking.
