A Piece called “Mariposita”
“Mariposita” means Little Butterfly in Spanish. It was created by Chris Carnabuci who is an artist from New York. This sculpture looks even grander in the middle of the Nevada desert and is quite a sight to see at night.

Some sculptures were made to shine at night but this one is better appreciated during the day. Because it is so polished there’s an incredible play of light which makes it look like water. It was created from steel and hand-polished by Michael Benistry.
