A new Harry Potter exhibit in Philadelphia called “Harry Potter: The Exhibition” features amazing access to behind the scenes looks at both the books and movies wizarding world. Located at the Franklin Institute, the interactive exhibition features beloved locations like Hagrid’s Hut, Newt’s Suitcase, and the Hogwarts castle.

These locations are brought to life and come complete with props and costumes that fans will recognize from the films. There are also fun interactive components that bring the magic to life.

Senior Vice President of Warner Bros. Themed Entertainment Peter van Roden shared with Travel + Leisure: “This Exhibition is an incredible way for Wizarding World fans to celebrate the world of Hogwarts and beyond — bringing them up close and personal with their favorite props, costumes, creatures, sets, and more.”

Visitors will start out at King’s Cross Platform 9 3/4 and then be sorted into their Hogwarts House, pick out a wand, and find out their Patronus. This way, each visitor can have a truly unique and personalized experience.

After their personal profile is set, they will sit under the Sorting Hat, explore classrooms, and then visit the Forbidden Forest. Here they can practice their newly personalized Patronus charm.

Of course, guests will be surrounded by original props and costumes throughout the exhibition so they can enjoy the experience both as an interactive one as well as a visual one.

The exhibition is open every day from 9:30am until 8pm. Admission for adults is $43 and for children is $39. The exhibition will move on after Philadelphia to the rest of the world to locations that include Latin America, Europe, Asia, Africa, and the Middle East.
