For those who are Starbucks obsessed, we have some great news for you. The coffee giant is opening up a brand new location this November in Chicago, and it will be the largest Starbucks in the world.
On November 15th, the Starbucks Roastery will open in the Windy City, right on the Magnificent Mile. The massive store will take up 43,000 square feet, which means it will be larger than the Tokyo Reserve Roastery, which currently holds the title of largest Starbucks in the world. The new location will feature four stories of its famous coffee as well as pastries and baked goods, merch, exclusive drinks, and a specialty expanded menu. COO Raz Brewer has shared that the location will be “inspired by the culture and traditions of Chicago.”
In addition to coffee, the brand new Roastery, like the rest that are already open, will feature a cocktail menu and an on-site mixologist to mix things up for customers right on the spot. Brewer continued: “Having mixology there creates a great entertainment space, and being able to look over the city.”
Unlike other coffee shops, the Starbucks Reserve Roastery will feature extended hours of operation. It will be open 7am to 11pm Mondays through Thursdays, 8am to midnight on Fridays and Saturdays, and 8am to 10pm on Sundays. This means it will truly be a place to read, work, mingle, and socialize.
The store will have 200 employees to make sure everything runs smoothly for every customer.
