Every year on the Fourth of July, we have a chance to celebrate America’s Independence Day in a variety of different ways. While everyone celebrates differently, what every celebration has in common is red, white, and blue. Some people like to celebrate by throwing a barbecue full of grilled meats, corn on the cob, and lots of guests, others like to head to the beach with friends. Whatever it is you choose to do, make sure you’ve got our nation’s flag’s colors proudly displayed!
Krispy Kreme Gets Patriotic
When it comes to desserts, almost nothing is as American as donuts. Krispy Kreme knows this all too well, and has decided to help Americans around the country celebrate their patriotic pride by releasing a set of new donuts in honor of our country’s special day. For those die-hard Krispy Kreme fans who are worried the donuts are getting a makeover, don’t worry — the donuts themselves are the same tried and true classic glazed donuts, but they’ll feature three different patriotic decor designs in honor of 4th of July.
You can find the Freedom Ring doughnut, which features red, white, and blue icing adorned with sprinkles of the same colors. The sprinkled ring features the classic glazed donut dipped in extra white icing and sprinkled with red, white, and blue sprinkles. Lastly, the Firework Ring doughnut features blue icing and stripes of red and white, resembling the fireworks we all know and love on Independence Day.
The donuts will be available for a limited time, so make sure you head there between June 24th and July 4th in order to get them all! Let freedom ring — just like the doughnut!
